despite having a burning case of the tasty feet, my future and i have been at odds. both of us ducking and weaving to search out the other's secret weakness. does he know what i know or are are we both doomed to mutual destruction?

all things considered the state of affairs in the dark harbor could be worse. the fog that rolled in from the sea this morning could have been thicker. the tanker could have been traveling just a bit more to it's left. the pleasure craft could have arived a little earlier from out of the storm.

none of these things happened ...

... and things indeed did turn out to be quite tragic. there are bosses to calm and families to call today.

techn1cal dev1at1ons

a deviation from the path may be in order. i'm looking for that once fabled road not taken from that one poem by that one other guy. we all know that today the wheel has not been re-invented and my slight deviation is no giant leap for man kind and it is self evident that there are other trails so vast and unique that they can only lead to pinnacles of the most amazing places and that my miniscule spork in the road is not the fodder for shocking headline news, i am still intrigued. yes, i am still intrigued.
