... this picture was from 2000, a few summers ago. its taken at sunset beach, just south of the LA / Orange county line. this is and always has been my favorite beach around here by far. i have been surfing those waves for 20 years now. this particular summer was good. my gal and i were in top form, my friends and i all had light work scheduals and the world seemed to have an 'all you can eat' feeling to it. these were the salad bar days of 2000.
